Trip to Seattle

Earlier this month, we had a short business trip to Seattle. For any travel where photography is not our main purpose, it is always a challenge to decide which equipment to take along. On one hand, we like to travel light but on the other hand, we do not want to miss opportunities for taking good pictures or to compromise too much on the picture quality. However, the former desire often prevails and we end up taking only a slow but versatile zoom (18-200), a fast prime (50 f/1.4), and a flash (SB-910), and, last but not least, our compact Point and Shoot (Powershot S95).

We had little time to explore the city but still managed to visit a few places and take some pictures. It is a beautiful city indeed and we were quite lucky not to get any rain during our trip. Here are some of our sample shots. Hope you like them…

Snoqualmie Falls, spectacular falls which is more than 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls.
